Day 74- Friday, March 23, 2012

Day 74- Friday, March 23, 2012
Today was a very LONG day in service. Me and Mileydis now have Friday as our designated service day together. We started the service day off at 8:30 in the morning and went from one side of our town to the other doing studies here and there. We finally finished at around 3 or 3:30 where we were supposed to meet up with the family and go to our studies that are at the same house. Well when we were walking to the store, the designated meeting place, it started to rain. Luckily for both of us, we both brought our umbrellas with us. I was like <….> that close to leaving the umbrella at home. But I brought it, well it started to rain a little. By the time we got to the store like a 10 minute walk it was pouring. And it continued pouring down for about an hour. Since the place we were going to go to, to study has no spot that is covered, arrangements were made to go a different day. So we walked to the families designated secret pick-up spot. By the time we got there Brother Pedro was waiting for us. I had to stop a few times to take AWESOME pictures. :) Some one once told me that the best pictures are usually after a good rain, so as we walked I snapped some pictures. When we got home I made hot chocolate for us girls and I had gotten each of us a cookie at the store so we had that little snack. Then I came into my room, and decided even though my ankle was still kinda smushy feeling, I was going to try to do some excersise anyways. Yesterday I did some ab work-out-moves. And I definitely felt it while doing my exercise today. And surprisingly I could do the whole thing with my smushy ankle. :) Then I went inside put some water on to boil, talked a little with the sister here and came back into my room to wait. The rain picked up again and I decided to take that opportunity to take a few more pictures. :) Which I did and they are pretty cool. I love rain drop pictures. When I came back inside I talked a little bit more with the sister about different knitting techniques that I could use. I am slowly getting the hang of it…..very slowly. Anyways then I add the hot water to the bucket of normal temperature-d freezing cold water and got luke warm. Which was god enough for me. I showered and when I came out of the bathroom, braided my hair, and put my stuff back in my room. I decided I wanted to watch a movie so I took my computer inside to see if the girls wanted to watch something also. But I forgot that 'COMBATE' was supposed to come on in a few minutes from my questioning. So they wanted to watch that. So I sat down in the little sofa chair that for some reason was moved into the kitchen yesterday and was trying to decide what I wanted to watch tonight. Mileydis came in, and asked if she could watch with me. I said. "Pues Claro, amiga!" ---"Of course, friend!" So I was trying to remember which of my movies I had gotten Spanish subs for. I downloaded for almost all of them and it turned out that almost all of the subs are in Portuegese…well we don't know how to read Portugese so that helps nothing. One is in Russian…yeah. But Mileydis said not to worry about the Spanish subs. Almost all the movies that DO have Spanish subs we already watched and beside she said I will be able to follow along with the story line. So I opted to show her my only favorite romantic movie. the only romantic movie that I am in love with!! PERSUASION…if you haven't seen it. Go see it now!! :) Out of all Jane Austen movies its by far the best! And th only romantic movie I can stand and actually want to see. Oh my goodness, Mileydis loved it. I would pause every wee bit and explain what was happening and she really enjoyed the movie…And when he writes the card and hides it under the box and then comes back into the room and slides out the corner of the letter and looks at her and leaves, that is where the best part of the whole movie starts. I translated the whole movie for her and she was just as into and excited as I was to be watching the movie. And then *sigh* the very BEST line in any movie EVER…ok well….ALMOST the best line in any movie I have ever seen. Definitely the best line in any Jane Austen movie I have seen. besides "Has the pig escaped again?!?!" haha is from Captain Wentworth… "I tried to forget you….I thought I had." DAH!! EMOTIONS!! Ok anyways, she was like "OH My GOSH!!" haha she loved the movie and said exactly what I was thinking at the end of the movie. She said. "*sigh* I want a Captain Wentworth." HA! Anyways, now its 10:30 and we have another service day in the morning so I have to call it a night. Side note: I am really feeling my muscles in my shoulders and stomach lately, SWEET!!! :) Goodnight Day 74! You were awesome! P.S. Awesome song: Luis Fonsi_ Aqui Estoy Yo (Bachata Version) <<AWESOME!!!!
