Day 73- Thursday, March 22nd, 2012

So today was our meeting night. So I don't have very much to say today. Seeing it was a slow day. Lets see…My Bible Highlights comment was on Jeremiah 10:12- I mentioned that this scripture is a good one to use for our studies and other brothers and sisters when they are having problems. We can remind them that if Jehovah is powerful enough to do the things mentioned in this scripture, he can more then help us with the problems we face today. And we have the promises in Chapter 9 of Jeremiah that he gave us, assuring us he would help us. We can feel secure with the words we find there and in this chapter that he will in fact help us in our times of distress. 

Ta-da! What do you think? Ok I made another note about the meeting in my book. It says, "WOW! Major communication deficit here. Someone bought the curtains for the hall instead of having everyone agree on a color. Apparently this happened before. The last time they got new curtains with these same people. So more then a few people are a little more then irritated. Tonight one of the talks was written by the mom instead of the daughter. It was obvious! When a 7 year old is having to read the script and saying things a 7 year-old. ESPECIALLY THIS 7 year old wouldn't say. I wonder why people do this with their kids. To me it doesn't make sense. If your kids REALLY want to give talks then they will REALLY want to do the work for them. No one doe their kids homework for school, this is no different. My mom never wrote our talks for us and we were 5 when we were on the school! 5! And anyone can ask Todd Eklund we did NOT have easy talks the first few times around. And why? Cause he knew that me and Carmen could do it! Cause well lets face it we are awesome! Haha! Just kidding, just kidding. But we weren't too bad! :) Anyways, I think people should do that! NUFF SAID!
