Day 65- Wednesday, March 14th 2012.
Today was another long day in service. 6.5 hours in service! But it was a sad day for me. I went to give one of my studies, and when I got there. Her mom said she had talked to their pastor. And he had told her that I couldn't come back and study with them. EVEN though we are studying the Bible! And EVEN though he doesn't take the time to go and teach them what the Bible REALLY says! It made me mad and sad all at the same time. It makes you think though, doesn't it? Why would a pastor be so worried that the people of his church LEARNED what the Bible said? Why would a pastor not want his followers to learn the TRUTH about God and his purpose for us today? Hmm, very interesting?? I think YES!! The whole point of religion SHOULD BE to learn about God and the Bible. So why was he so mad and afraid that they were studying the Bible with the book that is talking about what the Bible really teaches?! It makes me sad. People should be able to learn about the truth, and pastors, priests, wizards, what-have-you, should be the ones teaching the REAL stuff! Not what they want people to believe. They should be teaching what the BIBLE says not what THEY think or feel. But I guess that might be a contradiction in terms right?! Whatever I am mad/sad.
